Q&A

Is the pillow location adjustable? I am quite short, and adjusting the location of the backrest on the chair back is unlikely to get this in the right position to support my lumbar spine. It's too high. Can it be moved lower? I can move the backrest itself any lower and it's already at the bottom of the chair against the chair seat.

Regarding your concern about the placement of the "H' shaped cushion, the red rubber tabs that hold it in place are moveable. The upper two tabs can be moved to different holes, allowing you to lower the height of the support. However, the bottom tabs are already in the lowest available holes. If you're comfortable with the lower part of the cushion hanging slightly lower than intended, it can still provide effective support. I'm just wondering why one size fits all I know when I sit down my number is fine is not in the same place as my husband is on the chair
Hi Andrea, the PerfectBack Rest is 'one size fits most'. Depending on the chair that you put the PerfectBack on, you would be able to position it higher or lower on the chair's backrest that conforms better to you.
I saw that you can use the back rest while you’re lying on your back. Can you use it while doing abdominal exercises, like crunches? I always have difficulty knowing where to hold my back when I’m doing abdominal exercises
Hi Carlos, when used lying down, the PerfectBack Rest is meant to provide a full back stretch. We recommend only stretching for a few minutes at a time, and not performing exercises while laying on the backrest. Using the PerfectBack Rest as a stretching device may not be suitable for all persons, so please consider your condition before trying this.
It’s said to use batteries, where did they go?
Hi - Thanks for your question. The Perfectback Rest does not require batteries. I checked our webpage and don't see anywhere where it states this. Rest assured that you don't need batteries to operate this product.

Attaching and detaching the cushion is effortless with the 4 rubber fasteners. While using the Perfectback Rest in the office, experimenting with and without the Comfort Cushion is recommended. Research indicates that most users prefer using DR-HO’S Perfectback Rest without the Comfort Cushion on chairs at home and in the office, but find it more comfortable with the Comfort Cushion in cars and airplanes.

How can I easily attach and detach the comfort cushion?

For DETACHING the Cushion: Gently pull each soft rubber fastener until all four release from the Perfectback Rest. For ATTACHING the Cushion: Place the Cushion on the Perfectback Rest with the material label on the bottom. Secure the four fasteners by pressing on the head of each fastener while pulling on the stem. This action will cause the wider part of the fastener to slide through the hole in the Perfectback Rest, locking it into place.

How should I clean the Perfectback Rest?

Cleaning the Perfectback Rest is simple. Wipe it clean with warm water and soap. It's essential to air dry only by laying it flat. Avoid submerging it in water, wringing it, using a dryer, ironing, bleaching, or exposing it to direct sunlight.
