How long should I heat this sleeve for warm therapy?
Must be heated in the microwave. Make sure that the sleeve wasn’t previously in the freezer before microwaving. If it was, leave it out until it no longer feels frozen. Keep in mind microwave voltage may differ, so this is a general guide. Place the sleeve in the microwave for 25 seconds, and then add 10-second increments and check the heat of the sleeve by touch to check how hot it is. You can put the sleeve in for 10-second increments as many as 3 times, while checking to see how hot the sleeve is between each 10-second increment that you perform. The product should be very warm, but not hot. If your microwave is lower than 1,000 watts, then you may have to try additional 10-second increments. Always check that the temperature of the sleeve is safe before wearing to avoid the risk of burning. Overheating may cause damage to the product.
How long will the heat last?
The duration will vary as users have different preferences for warmth. After heating the sleeve, the warmth should last approximately 8 - 10 minutes.
How long should this product be placed in the freezer for cold therapy?
Place the sleeve in the resealable bag, and then in the freezer for up to 2 hours. It is generally recommended to use cold therapy for about 15 minutes at a time, and take a break for at least an hour before re-applying cold therapy to prevent ice burn or skin injury.

After freezing the sleeve for 2 hours, it should remain cold for approximately 20 minutes.
